Kent Neal writes gay poetry books in both French and English. Poem themes include romantic relationships, identity, fighting against homophobia, and immigrant experiences.
He was born and raised in Oregon on the west coast of the United States. He holds an Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in creative writing from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Since 2003, he has been living in Lyon, France.
Kent’s poems have appeared in the following literary journals Hole In The Head Review, Painted Bride Quarterly, Gay & Lesbian Review, Broadkill Review, and elsewhere.
